Atlanta Beltline Neighborhoods

The Basics of the Atlanta Beltline: What You Should Know About this Hot Spot

The Atlanta Beltline, by definition, is a sustainable redevelopment project taken on by the city that has been repurposing and revitalizing a former railway corridor that runs around the core of Atlanta. In actuality, the Atlanta Beltline is a fun, hip, and reimagined project that connects nearly 45 different Atlanta neighborhoods through its 22 miles of multi-use trails, modern streetcars, and parks.

Though this spot was meant to provide first and last-mile connectivity for the city for regional transportation purposes, what it’s really done is create a sustainable, exciting, and opportune spot to live, shop, eat, maintain an active lifestyle, and enjoy.

Though the project is scheduled to be totally complete by 2030, there’s still a large chunk of the beltline accomplished and underway, making way for tons of fun, urban renewal projects, great food, public events, art, and more.
